PREAMBLE TO OUR CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
We, the members of the Auxiliary to Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War,
have formed this Patriotic Organization
for the purpose and objects herein set forth;
to commemorate the deeds of the Veterans of the Civil War,
to bear true allegiance to the government of the United States of America;
to uphold the constitution and be firmly opposed to anything
that may threaten our National form of government.
